Nickelback’s Gotta Be Somebody album

Nickelback’s previous album sold over 7 million copies and stayed at a comfortable position in the top charts for a year. This very fact put pressure on the group to make good their upcoming album. So they turned their attention to Robert Lange, to help them punch up their next songs. They refused to stick to the formula. The veteran producer worked with the likes of Shania Twain and Def Leppard. His signature style being the big arena sound. A very good compliment to Nickelback. The band obviously returns with a more muscular sound. With synth and ambient vocals in the background instead of that rock crunch. The only thing that is not appealing is the fact that the lyrics are predictable and can be easily forgotten. Rest assured, Gotta Be Somebody will please the die hard Nickelback fans.
