A Twist In My Story – Secondhand Serenade
The band plays like a balladeer, you’d kill for them to sing to you from your window and difficultly contain your excitement and be as calm as possible. The tunes of the songs add delight and are very satisfying, but when it comes to some of the lyrics, you wouldn’t want most of what the words mean to be true… except “Fall For You”, of course. But unquestionably, these lyrics are very agreeable considering that the feelings and the circumstances contained in these songs are faced by the youth today. They can relate and love the sappiness easily, that’s why their MySpace is bombarded with praises on fans’ comments that say “It’s so unbelievable that someone could fit so perfectly in my mood.”
You’d just play the CD all day, all afternoon, all night and as you sleep. John Vesely’s voice is something you will never get enough of. He lets people know that these songs are truly his, in the way he delivers them. The album is for the romantic and for the emotional.
