I really want to know what albums made it to the top 10 albums of all time as of the year 2006. I am quite curious to know if my favorite artists made it there thinking that it is not impossible since they are famous anyway. And I was right! They really made it. Well there was a part of me that doubted but it was all gone now of course. I am truly happy to see that Backstreet Boys, Shania Twain and Britney Spears made it to the top 10. I guess they were really a hit. But what amazed me is the holder of the number one position. Actually I kind of expected that Michael Jackson will be the title holder (though he is on the second spot), but The Eagles were the ones up there. I guess you can never really tell. But I also think that they deserve it.

As I browse on the top albums of 2007, I noticed that in almost all of the lists, In Rainbows of Radiohead claims a spot. I am quite curious with this album because first, I wasnt able to hear any of the Radioheads song, and second, I do not know them. Only when I read some of the album reviews, I was able to learn that the artists behind this band were able to make an impact to listeners. I can say that they deserved the #1 spot for 2007. Im sure the following year could be even more successful year for them. Check out this site for the album reviews: rateyourmusic.com

Nelly’s 8th Studio Album named “Brass Knuckles” will be released this coming September 14, 2008 under the Universal Label. The first single released under the album was “Party People” where in Nelly collaborated with Fergie and included some hip- hop icons of this time in the music video. There is one track on the new Nelly album that doesn’t include cameos from such urban-music A-listers as T.I., Snoop Dogg, Usher and Fergie. As it happens, the sole solo cut is called “One and Only.” Taking into account that “Brass Knuckles” is the St. Louis rapper’s oft-delayed follow-up to 2004’s somewhat underwhelming “Sweat”/”Suit” project, critics might wonder if the sprawling guest list is an admission of fading commercial prowess. So, it’s to the MC’s credit that “Brass Knuckles” still feels like a party. Check out “Body on Me,” on which Akon and rumored girlfriend Ashanti surround Nelly’s verses with singsong melody, and “Let It Go,” where the headliner rides a funky Neptunes beat. Throughout, Nelly and his high-wattage pals throw down with abandonment, not angst.
